Bug-report reward: the rules
If a problem you report helps us fix KeepCallsSafe, you get a lifetime licence. To keep it fair for everyone, these rules apply.
- The reward is for a real fault in the app that we can confirm and then fix in a new version of KeepCallsSafe.
- Setup and network matters are support, not faults: call screening not allowed, contacts access turned off, battery settings that stop the app, or how your network handles voicemail. We're glad to help with them, but they don't earn the reward.
- One reward per fault. It goes to the first person who reports it; later reports of the same fault are welcome but don't earn a second reward.
- Send the report from the app with “Report a problem”. It adds your phone model, Android version, network and a short record of recent calls (times and decisions only, never phone numbers). We need it to confirm the fault.
- Only reports from the latest version of KeepCallsSafe on Google Play count. If a newer version is available, the app offers the update first: update, check whether the problem is still there, and only then report it.
- When the fix is out, update the app and confirm from the same phone, again with “Report a problem”, that the problem is gone. Then we send you a code for the lifetime licence.
- One lifetime licence per Google account. We decide whether a report qualifies, and the licence can't be exchanged for money.
How it works
- Tap “Report a problem” in the app and describe what happened.
- We check the details and try to reproduce the problem.
- If it's a fault, we fix it and let you know when the new version is on Google Play.
- You update, confirm the fix from the app, and get your code.
